Wingboy is one of the famous go-to places for OG chicken wings with 13 flavours that are freshly made everyday.
They have smokey BBQ, Korean gochujang, and peri peri dry rub, to name a few. We tried their “asskickin” wings for some thrill of the heat, and it doesn’t disappoint. It lives up to the name.
Generally, their wings are exactly what we’re looking for. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Plus, they’re generous with the coated sauces.
Also, the first thing we noticed when we dropped by was the casual ambience. It’s a perfect spot to go with your friends, where you can get your hands messy.

Wings And Tins is one of the places we enjoyed dropping by. It’s a bit tucked in an alley, making it feel like discovering a secret spot.
The vibe? It has that dive bar, unglamorous type of atmosphere where drinks keep flowing, and napkins pile up. Very casual and warm, which is a plus for us.
Their chicken wings are also what we’d hope for, especially their buffalo flavour. It has that tight balance of tangy heat that doesn’t overpower the chicken. Their house-made blue cheese dipping sauce is also a standout, cutting through the spice just right.
Another thing we like about Wings And Tins is that they have varying levels of heat you want. From Frank’s Original to Doom Juice, which is made from Carolina Reapers, challengers will surely find it interesting to try.

The place came to us as a classic “wings and beer” hangout. There’s this sports bar energy and a steady buzz. We think that it’s a kind of place where you settle in rather than a quick bite.
For their wings, they have well-fried wings tossed in different flavours. This ranges from Chipotle BBQ to Louisiana-style wings.
But as for our take, we liked their sweet and spicy sriracha with their rooster hot sauce. The sweet plum flavour just sticks with the chicken, balancing the heat.

We can’t just miss Winghaus, especially their energetic sports bar atmosphere. This place is worth a visit if you want to skip a regular dinner and just enjoy hanging out.
There are multiple big screens with live sports where you can gather around, have some beer and pair it with their chicken wings.
Speaking of wings, their serving is more on classic American-style flavour. We enjoyed their big portions and tasty sauces. They have teriyaki, salt and vinegar, and mango habanero, to name a few.
Just one thing we noticed is that their wings are meatier compared to other restaurants we had. For us, it’s a plus, as it feels a bit more satisfying.

Another spot that gives off a dive bar energy is Chuck Trailer’s. We super love their interiors with a vintage skate vibe.
Aside from that, their live band is what makes them a real deal. You’ll enjoy rock music, and don’t be surprised if you stay longer than planned, especially since they’re open until 4 AM.
Going on with their menu, they serve big, punchy American-style wings. They have it in honey mustard, Korean-style, and extra-hot flavours. Their dry-rubbed wings are also on point.

Harts Pub caught us with its warm, slightly rustic old-school pub full of locals and regulars. It’s more laid-back and nothing fancy (but in a good way).
They serve classic wings and cold beers. Their best-seller is the Frank’s style hot wings, which is famous for its buttery heat perfect for a cold pint.
Also, since it’s a pub, they have a rotating lineup of Australiang craft beers. It makes it easy to find a drink to complement your chicken wings.
