The 5 best laundromats in Sydney for hassle-free laundry days
Whether or not you have a washing machine at home, and no matter how busy you are, you’ll still end up needing to do the laundry at some point. You can’t avoid it, but you can choose a laundromat that makes the experience as pain-free as possible.
Laundry can be a chore, but it doesn’t have to feel like one.
Picking a good laundromat in Sydney — one with powerful machines, efficient service, and comfortable waiting areas — can make all the difference. Who knows; you may even find yourself looking forward to wash days from now on.
How much does a laundromat cost in Sydney?
Prepare to pay $7 – $18 for a wash cycle at a laundromat in Sydney, and around the same price again for a drying cycle. Heavier laundry loads, as well as the use of larger or more powerful machines, will usually increase prices. Drying cycles tend to be slightly more expensive than wash cycles.

Highly recommend Laundrlab
“Found Launderlab on Google and so glad I did! The place is clean, has long hours, very easy to operate and best of all the washers have built-in soap (you don’t need to bring detergents). It is located in a safe neighborhood and has a constant stream of people coming in to do their laundry. This place also offers free WiFi connection while you are waiting to get the laundry done.”

The page does list laundry prices, but it’s an old post; prices may change in the near future.
Simply great!
“Heaps of commercial grade washing machines of different sizes. Six gigantic commercial grade dryers too. Any issues and management respond imminently. This place has been my saviour and grace while my laundry and kitchen are being demo’d and reno’d. Convenient location too.”
