1. Next Level Escape

Website: https://www.nextlevelescape.com.au/
Address: Lower Ground, 23 O’Connell St
Contact: 0457 000 036 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Tuesday 10:00 AM-8:00 PM | Wednesday to Sunday 10:00 AM-10:00 PM
Next Level Escape is a centrally located spot that doesn’t require long travel for the whole office.
We like their extended 75-minute sessions filled with unique, in-house-designed puzzles.
Plus, their dedicated game masters actually interact with your group as characters during the game, making the whole narrative highly immersive.
Our team has been here before, and the way the host stayed engaged with us the entire time really elevated the strategy and fun.
They easily accommodate large groups of up to 14 players in a single, strictly private room.
You also get a great safety net with flexible refunds for missing players if you notify them 24 hours ahead of time. But there’s a strict late policy, as arriving over 10 minutes behind schedule means they’ll likely cut your game short.
Fun for team building activities
Great place fore group fun or work team building activities.
Staff are all amazing with jokes and good sense of humour making the activity more fun.
We have done two rooms with my colleagues for the last two years and both have been very fun.
If you are having enough people in your group, I would recommend the Game as it was challenging and fun the whole way.

Awesome escape room experience
My work team and I came to do an escape room as a team building task. We had an awesome time together playing “The Game” and Tyla was a great host! She was great at giving hints and keeping the game exciting when we got stuck. Thanks for hosting us – would absolutely recommend.

2. Virtual Room Sydney

Website: https://sydney.virtual-room.com/
Address: 5/393 George St
Contact: 2 9053 0221 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Sunday 10:00 AM-10:00 PM
Virtual Room Sydney features fun, immersive, beginner-friendly missions developed entirely in their own studio. You don’t even have to stress about choosing a specific mission beforehand, as your private group can pick the best adventure upon arrival.
The best part is that they perfectly match your in-game movements to your physical steps, eliminating motion sickness so everyone’s comfortable.
We like how they make organising a large outing simple because their three-year gift vouchers offer tremendous booking flexibility.
They also ensure their physical venue meets accessibility standards for guests with reduced mobility.
However, the entire department can’t collaborate simultaneously in a single game since you’ll have to divide into much smaller sub-teams of two to four players.
Polished and well done VR
Outstanding experience, whether you’re a family, small group or anything else, this place is great! I’ve never had a VR experience this well polished and well done. They take you through a fun team building escape room (ours was an escape room through time). We took our robotics group ages of 6th-8th grade and they really enjoyed the experience! The only down side it’s a tad expensive, but in my opinion totally worth it.

If you’re searching for flexibility, Escape Hunt Sydney is a place that stands out by offering dedicated remote digital adventures. They also have fully mobile on-site setups that come directly to your office, completely eliminating the need to travel.
Their indoor team social package provides a full 90-minute experience complete with complimentary refreshments and a fun dress-up photoshoot.
They also mix things up nicely with outdoor augmented reality (AR) missions that use geolocation tech to explore the city. Another immersive activity is their television-style quiz room for an extra layer of friendly rivalry.
You can easily transition from puzzle solving to networking by renting their licensed event space for post-game drinks.
The only downside is their strict minimum player requirement, locking micro-teams out of specific virtual events unless they have at least four people.
Fun and engaging activity
I’d my first experience with escape rooms and it turned out to be a fun and engaging activity. Great for team building or offsite activities as it really does bring together all people towards achieving a common goal.
The escape hunt team members were accommodating and clear with the instructions and were readily available to address queries which we had.

Excellent teamwork building activity
What a great activity for a team building or friends gathering! Really grows the teamwork skills! We had the Alladin room and it wasn’t as easy as we thought it would be. Interesting puzzles that make you think hard and try all the ways possible to solve them.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
If you want to ditch the cookie-cutter templates, Corporate Amazing Race is an excellent option. They design completely custom routes around your business goals and company values.
Instead of relying on clunky phone apps, they provide real-life professional hosts at every checkpoint to encourage genuine face-to-face interactions.
We spoke directly to a fellow department head who used them last quarter, and she mentioned the live leaderboards created an incredibly fun rivalry across her teams.
They proactively design weather-proof courses to keep things going in the outdoors. Plus, they seamlessly synchronise multi-city races for giant, connected events.
They’re also able to handle various group sizes, from tiny startups to massive enterprises, without losing momentum.
One major hassle is the lack of transparent flat rates, forcing you to request a tailored quote and pay an upfront 20% deposit immediately upon booking.
Seamless and amazing race event
Kerri you are a superstar!! From my first Teams meeting with you I knew you would deliver on the brief. Kerri tailored an amazing race for my son’s 18th birthday. Race day was seamless and most importantly everyone had an amazing time 🤩. Everyone who participated would do it again. Highly recommend for team building or birthdays. So much FUN!!

We like how Corporate Challenge Sydney manages every single planning detail while delivering custom-tailored proposals. Because of this, there’s no need to worry about logistical headaches.
They also provide post-event snapshots filled with valuable insights and photos to share company-wide.
Your staff will even benefit long after the day ends, thanks to their 12-month support system and access to a dedicated resource hub.
Their services come with a solid price-beat guarantee, ensuring you secure the most competitive rate available. Their warranty allows you to request a refund if your group didn’t have a genuinely great time.
A slight issue is their geographical restriction for physical events, which may reduce flexibility for some groups.
