Dr Hunt is a veteran in the field, with over 20 years as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
He’s made a name for himself with his deep plane facelift. It’s a technique that goes deeper than the usual skin-tightening lifts.
Instead of just pulling the surface, it repositions the underlying issues, lifts the cheeks, and defines the jawline. It also avoids that “overdone” look sometimes seen from traditional facelifts.
One person we’ve spoken to said Dr Hunt gave her 20 years back, which says a lot about how transformative the procedure was.
Based on the clients, the clinic’s team is also professional and attentive. They’d really make sure clients are well taken care of.
Just remember that they have a strict 5-day cancellation policy. One patient lost a $350 deposit when plans changed at the last minute, and we don’t want potential clients to replicate that experience.

We liked that he offers options for facelifts. There’s a deep plane facelift and Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System (SMAS) facelift, often combined with a neck lift.
For those wanting more comprehensive work, eyelids, brow lift, and fat grafting can be included. The fat grafting detail restores volume with fat injections to soften the results and make them look more balanced.
We also came across positive feedback from someone who had a full facelift combined with CO2 laser resurfacing.
It seems like he’s confident in layering treatments to address both structure and skin quality in one plan.
Aftercare is structured. Follow-ups are included in a six-week package, with extended aftercare available.
However, his packages are pricey. It’s not aimed at bargain hunters, and it doesn’t try to be.

We were impressed with Dr Michael Zacharia’s background. He’s one of only four Australian surgeons to complete advanced deep plane facelift and neck-lifting training in New York City.
On top of that, he trained in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and head and neck surgery. This means he understands the face not just from a cosmetic perspective but from a structural and functional one too.
He specialises in deep plane facelifts, so his results look more natural and less pulled.
From what we’ve heard, his consultations are very thorough. Patients mentioned detailed discussions about which technique suits them best, risks, and surgical plans.
We think their cooling-off period is smart too. It’s mandatory after two consultations before surgery can be booked or a deposit paid, which helps prevent rushed decisions.
Patients also praised the hands-on follow-up care they received.
That said, the weak spot appears to be the front desk. Some people have found the receptionist unfriendly and hard to communicate with.

Dr Jason Roth performs more than 50 facelifts every year. He can do other types, but he’s more focused on deep plan facelifts.
His background is rooted in ENT and head and neck surgery, along with fellowships in facial plastic surgery in Australia.
There’s a lot more going on in his credentials, but to make it simple, we just know that he understands facial anatomy seriously.
Consultations last about 45–90 minutes, which is longer than many clinics offer.
Beyond the length of the consultation, we loved how transparent each session is. He explains how ageing affects the face and what surgical components would be involved. Incision placement and realistic outcomes are also discussed in detail.
We’ve heard a lot of patient feedback, and a clear pattern showed up. The results are always natural and youthful.
We also love that he remains personally involved in pre- and postoperative care.
On the flip side, since he runs a dual ENT and facial plastics practice, longer wait times often happen.
