2. Bat Tech

bat-tech

Website: https://www.battech.com.au/
Address: Level 3, Suite 309/478 George St
Contact: 02 9698 9644
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday – Sunday, after-hours drop-off available by appointment

Bat Tech specialises in tailored gaming and business desktops, so you won’t receive generic off-the-shelf packages.

Their team deserves applause because they configure each machine to match individual user goals instead of pushing costly parts you don’t actually need.

Even better, they’re an all-in-one computer shop with data recovery, virus removal, and repairs.

We like that purchases come with a solid one- to three-year on-site warranty, free delivery, and ongoing technical support.

On the downside, their schedule is between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays only. Weekend drop-offs require booking a special after-hours appointment, which is a hurdle for sudden computer breakdowns.

  • Free delivery and post-sales technical help
  • Comprehensive repair services

Cons

  • Weekend drop-offs require an appointment

It’s not surprising, as their Microsoft-trained team provides excellent customer support. They track down hard-to-find components and pre-install essential operating software before you collect your completed system.

Louis had it fixed within two days
Excellent service. Louis is knowledgeable and quickly rebuilt my 11 yr old CPU which died after a few weeks of gradually working very slowly in Windows 10, corrupting the data drive and giving up altogether.. Louis had it fixed within two days and upgraded to Windows 11 and new hard and ssd drives. I’m extremely happy with my ‘new’. Computer and definitely recommend his services.
